1. Acceptance
By using RewardBot or interacting with its features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot. Discord’s own terms, policies, and rules also apply to your use of Discord.
2. The service
RewardBot provides tools for Discord communities to track virtual currency, configure a currency name, and submit withdrawal requests through tickets. Features may change or become unavailable. Currency is a server-specific virtual balance maintained by the bot; it is not legal tender, a bank deposit, or a guarantee of real-world value.
3. Virtual currency and balances
- Server owners configure the currency name and the rules for earning, spending, and requesting withdrawals.
- Balances are records within the bot and do not represent funds held by the bot operator.
- Do not exploit bugs, manipulate balances, or attempt unauthorized balance changes.
- Server owners should communicate their reward rules clearly and apply them consistently.
- We cannot guarantee balances will always be available or preserved if a server stops using the bot or the service is interrupted.
4. Withdrawals and tickets
A withdrawal command may create a ticket for authorized staff to review. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, payout, or a particular processing time.
- Staff may approve or reject requests according to the server’s rules and available resources.
- Staff should reject a request when it is declined.
- Only after the real-world payout has been completed should authorized staff use “Mark Payout” or the success action.
- When marked complete, the bot may deduct the approved amount from the member’s virtual balance.
- Staff are responsible for verifying an external payment before marking it complete.
For an incorrect status or disputed deduction, contact the server owner or authorized staff and provide the ticket details.
5. Server owner and staff responsibilities
Server owners are responsible for currency settings, reward rules, staff permissions, payout methods, and decisions. Only trusted, authorized staff should approve, reject, or mark withdrawals complete. The bot operator does not independently verify external payments and is not the custodian of users’ funds.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to disrupt the bot, exploit vulnerabilities, impersonate others, interfere with another user’s balance, submit fraudulent withdrawal requests, or use the bot for unlawful activity. You must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
7. Availability and changes
The bot is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, operational, or other reasons. Uninterrupted operation and error-free records are not guaranteed.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the bot is provided without warranties that it will be error-free or continuously available. The bot operator is not responsible for a server owner’s independent payout decisions, payment-provider delays, disputes between members, or losses caused by misuse or inaccurate information. Nothing here limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
9. Suspension or termination
Access may be restricted or terminated if the bot is abused, these Terms are violated, continued operation creates a security or legal risk, or the service is discontinued. Where reasonably practicable, open withdrawal disputes should be resolved with the relevant server staff.
10. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in the service or applicable requirements. The latest version and update date will be posted here.
11. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the bot operator or use the support contact published by the bot owner.
